a) Survey Information. Stefanie Hartman Enterprises Inc. collects information from individuals when they voluntarily complete a survey, order form, or registration page either online, in person, by mail, by telephone or other similar means (collectively, a "Survey Information"). An individual may receive incentives from Stefanie Hartman Enterprises Inc. or a third-party in exchange for providing Survey Information to the Sites. If a login or password is generated, the User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the password.
b) Other Information. Stefanie Hartman Enterprises Inc. may obtain other information in situations including but not limited to: (1) when an individual is making a claim for a prize or seeking to redeem an incentive offered by Stefanie Hartman Enterprises Inc. or by a third-party, (2) when an individual requests assistance through Stefanie Hartman Enterprises Inc., or (3) when an individual voluntarily subscribes to a Stefanie Hartman Enterprises Inc. service or newsletter (together, "Other Information"). Stefanie Hartman Enterprises Inc. may also receive information about individuals from other sources outside of Stefanie Hartman Enterprises Inc. including information located in public databases ("Outside Information").
c) Web Technology. Stefanie Hartman Enterprises Inc. currently uses web technology to associate certain Internet-related information about an individual with information about the individual in our database. This information includes but is not limited to a User’s IP address, the date and time the Sites were accessed, the URL the User just came from, which URL the User goes to next, and the browser and operating system used to access the Sites. We strongly encourage Users to revisit this policy for any updates regarding our use of technology.
d) No Information Collected from Children. Stefanie Hartman Enterprises Inc. products and services do not solicit information or target information of any kind to children under the age of 18, and will not knowingly collect, use, or disclose to third parties any personal information about children under the age of 18. It is possible by fraud or deception we may receive information pertaining to children under the age of 18, in which case on actual knowledge that it has collected personal information about a child under the age of 18, Stefanie Hartman Enterprises Inc. will immediately delete it from its database.
e) Credit Card Information. Stefanie Hartman Enterprises Inc. collects credit card numbers and related information such as the expiration date of the card ("Credit Card Information") when an individual places an order with Stefanie Hartman Enterprises Inc. in order to complete the purchase transaction. When the Credit Card Information is submitted over the Internet, such information is encrypted and is protected with SSL encryption software. Credit Card Information is not included in the definition of "Individual Information" and will be disclosed to third parties only as necessary to complete the purchase transaction.
f) Correction of Personally Identifiable Information. Users may contact us to update their Personally Identifiable Information or to correct any inaccuracies by emailing us at mit@stefaniehartman.com
g) Deletion of Personally Identifiable Information. Usersmay request that we delete/deactivate their Personally Identifiable Information by contacting mit@stefaniehartman.com and we will promptly accommodate such request. However, because of backups and records of deletions, it may be impossible to delete a Visitor's entry without retaining some residual information. An individual who requests to have Personally Identifiable Information deactivated will have this information functionally deleted, and we will not sell, transfer, or use Personally Identifiable Information relating to that individual in any way moving forward.
3. USE OF INFORMATION
a) Personally Identifiable Information. Stefanie Hartman Enterprises Inc. uses Personally Identifiable Information to customize the Sites, to make appropriate service offerings, and to fulfill buying and selling requests on the Sites. Users may receive email messages from us about research, or purchase and selling opportunities on the Sites, or information related to the subject matter of the Sites. We may also use Personally Identifiable Information to contact Users in response to specific inquiries, or to provide requested information.
b) Discretion to Use Information. Stefanie Hartman Enterprises Inc. may use Individual Information for any legally permissible purpose in our sole discretion, including providing promotional offers to individuals by means of email advertising, telephone marketing, direct mail marketing, online banner advertising, and package stuffers, among other possible uses.
c) Email. Stefanie Hartman Enterprises Inc. uses Individual Information to provide promotional offers by email to individuals. The subject line will not usually contain phrases such as "ADV:" or "ADVERTISEMENT". e) Monitoring And Recording. The User hereby give permission and consent to Stefanie Hartman Enterprises Inc. or its affiliates to contact the User via phone or email and agree to allow Stefanie Hartman Enterprises Inc. or its affiliates to monitor or record the phone conversations. Verbal notice may not be provided of monitoring or recording.
f) Login Information. Stefanie Hartman Enterprises Inc. uses login information such as IP addresses, ISPs, and browser types, to analyze trends, administer the Site, track a User's movement and use, and gather broad demographic information.
4. SECURITY
a) Storage and Access. Personally Identifiable Information collected by Stefanie Hartman Enterprises Inc. is securely stored. All of our employees are familiar with our security policy and practices, however the Personally Identifiable Information of our Users is only accessible to a limited number of qualified employees who are given a password in order to gain access to the information. Sensitive information such as Credit Card Information is protected by encryption protocols in place to protect information sent over the Internet.
b) No Liability. While we take commercially reasonable measures to maintain a secure site, electronic communications and databases are subject to errors, tampering and break-ins, and we cannot guarantee or warrant that such events will not take place and we will not be liable to Users for any such occurrences.
5. DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION
a) Compliance With Laws Stefanie Hartman Enterprises Inc. will disclose Personally Identifiable Information in order to comply with a court order or subpoena or a request from a law enforcement agency to release such information. We will also disclose Personally Identifiable Information when reasonably necessary to protect the safety of our Users.
